Our Mission
Empowered Café is a for-profit coffee shop with a purpose. We employ adults with Down Syndrome to build meaningful careers and foster independence through dignified, skill-based roles.

Our vision is to showcase the talents of adults with disabilities, empower independence through self- checkout systems, partner with local businesses, and create a vibrant, inclusive space where everyone feels welcome.
What we do
Self-checkout kiosks and grab-and-go fridges streamline service, while friendly, trained staff focus on food prep, running orders, and keeping the space maintained—all with minimal bottlenecks.
